Idioms
- To play the game: behave in a fair and honest way (정정당당하게 하다)
- To bend(or stretch) the rules: allow somebody to break the rules to some extent because you think there is a good reason (예외를 두다. 변칙을 적용하다)
- To take a short cut: the way which takes short time (지름길로 가다)
- To turn a blind eye (to sth): pretend not to see something or know about something (안좋은 일에 모른척하다. 눈감아 주다)
- To put it on: pretend that you are hurt, angry, etc (다치거나 화난 척 한다)
- To take sb in (often passive): to deceive sb in order to get what you want (사기치다)
